The Silent Disaster - Impact of COVID-19 On Cancer Prevention”- an event by TCP

tcpofficial

Cancer and teenagers - two words that aren’t often put in the same sentence, and have deep impacts when they are. Teens for Cancer Patients is an organization that is aiming for these words to be associated together in a more positive way. In these trying times when we cannot meet physically and encourage this, TCP is still excited to announce our first major virtual event - “The Silent Disaster - Impact of COVID-19 On Cancer Prevention” on December 5th.

Teens from around the world are invited to interactive workshops and talks by esteemed panellists, such as Padma Shri Winner Dr. Ravi Kannan, expert researcher Dr. Ravi Mehrotra, and Ruby Ahluwalia- Founder of Sanjeevani: Life Beyond Cancer.

Through this virtual event, TCP and the panellists aim to educate people around the globe about the devastating economic impact of COVID-19 on funding, hospitals for cancer patients, lack of resources, and the overall lack of awareness on this issue.
